He leaned his for head against hers and shut his eyes, “Audrey, you never had to change for me. You’ve always been good enough for me. I never want you to change for anyone. I love you just the way you are.” He leaned his face closer and kissed her softly, moving his hand to the side of her face, and softly brushing away one of her tears.
Nobody had ever told Audrey she was fine the way she was and hearing it from Christopher made it extra special for her. A smiled crept onto her face and she looked into his eyes. “Thank you for being the only person who could ever accept me for who I am, flaws and all.” She said with sincerity. Audrey kissed him back softly, and moved herself closer to him. She didn’t want to leave him. She pulled away for a second, “I love you Chris, I’m madly and deeply in love with you and I want to be yours again and I want you to be mine.” She said honestly and looked hopefully into his blue eyes.
He grinned and looked back into her eyes, “You’ve always been mine, Audrey. And Ive never been anyone elses, and I never will.” He pulled her into his arms and held her tight, not wanting to let go. “I love you so much Audrey.” He kissed her for head.
She smiled, feeling a whole lot happier than she had been before. “I’ll never let you go Chris, you’re stuck with me now.” Some of her playfulness was getting back in her voice now. She cuddled up next to him and sighed contently. “I love you, J’adore you.” She laughed at her use to a french word. She looked at him and kissed him again, passionately this time.
He grinned against her lips and pulled her up onto his lap, “Im sorry for ditching you yesterday, when you needed me.” He pulled back and looked at her.

Chris took her hands and pulled her onto the bed, “I could never hate you.” He looked down feeling bad, “I just know that this is all my fault, I mean, if I had never gone to college then you would have never lost the baby.” He looked back up at her, regret strong on his face. “Im so sorry, Audrey.”
Audrey had woken up before Chris. The guilt was starting to get to her now, she couldn’t keep this secret away from him anymore. She went into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast, it was what she did when she was really stressed. Half an hour later Audrey had made bacon, eggs, toast, waffles and pancakes. She heard Chris walk into the kitchen.
“I made breakfast, but Chris there’s something I have to tell you if you want us to continue with what we’re doing and you might hate me forever if you decide not to forgive me.”
He ran his hand through his hair, frustrated. “Audrey, I just need some time to think okay? I’ll call you latter. Maybe.”
He pulled out his cell phone to call a cab and started out the door.
He hated leaving her like this, but he needed to clear his head.
As soon as Audrey got out of the hospital, she knew she had to go see Chris straight away. She didn’t want him to think that she never changed and that she would do something that stupid. She went over to his house and made the maid let her in. She walked up to his bedroom and knocked on the door.
“Chris, I need to speak to you.” She said loudly.

He sat up and looked at the door, knowing that Audrey was on the other side. He debated with himself whether to let her come in or not, but then decided that he couldnt ignore her for forever.
“It’s open.” He told her, just loud enough for her to hear.

He nodded, feeling his happy mood vanish at her serious tone. He leaned on the kitchen counter and looked at her, “Okay…what’s up?” She was starting to worry him. He couldn’t think of a reason that would ever make him not want to talk to her anymore.
She looked into Chris’ blue eyes and felt like crying. She hated what she had done to him and now there was no way out. “Chris, when you were going to leave to Yale, something happened. I found out I was pregnant, it was your baby. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want to hold you back.” Tears started fighting their way out of her eyes, a single tear fell down her eyes and rolled down her cheek. “I never meant to keep it from you for so long, but I was so depressed from having you gone from my life, the stress was bad for the baby and I lost the baby. I’m so sorry Chris. I was too afraid to tell you and now I know you’re probably never going to talk to me again, but I always loved you that never stopped and I still do love you.” The tears kept coming down her face and she tried wiping them away.
He was taken aback by her words. He was so stunned he couldn’t think straight. “You got pregnant and you didn’t tell me? Audrey why wouldn’t you tell me something like that?!”
He was getting really mad, if she had told him, they could have been together long ago, and had a kid by now. Wow. A kid.
This was starting to just be to much for him. He needed to get out. To think. “I need to go.” He didn’t even give her a second glance, as he started for her door.
